Police arrested Riedlinger Friday on a charge of possession of amphetamine. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $5,000 bail. Weapons — David Michael Kohart, 21, Medford. Medford police arrested Kohart Saturday on charges of attempting to use and carry a concealed weapon, disorderly conduct and endangering. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $16,000 bail. Drugs — Christina Marie Alarcon, 34, Jacksonville. Medford police arrested Alarcon Saturday on charges of possession of amphetamine, driving with a suspended license, possessing contraband, resisting arrest and harassment. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $20,000 bail. Escape — Timothy Russell Sanders, 22, White City. Medford police arrested Sanders Saturday on charges of second-degree escape, resisting arrest and on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of second-degree trespass. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $12,000 bail. Criminal mistreatment — Darla Jean Davis, 40, Medford. Medford police arrested Davis Saturday on charges of first-degree criminal mistreatment, fourth-degree assault and harassment. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $12,000 bail. Advertisement Criminal mischief — Gregory Keith Thompson, 19, White City. Medford police arrested Thompson Saturday on charges of first-degree criminal mischief and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $10,000 bail. Drugs — Carl Hiram Hibbard, 44, Medford. Medford police arrested Hibbard Saturday on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on a charge of possession of amphetamines. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $6,000 bail. Drugs — Amanda Rene Smith, 23, Medford. Medford police arrested Smith Saturday on a charge of possession of amphetamine. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $5,000 bail. Drugs — Delbert Love Cole, 48, Medford. Medford police arrested Cole Saturday on a charge of possession of amphetamine and an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on the same charge. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $9,000 bail. Assault — Robert Gene Townsend, 40, Medford. Medford police arrested Townsend Saturday on charges of felony fourth-degree assault, fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $12,000 bail. Crime reports Bike theft — A resident in the 1400 block of South Columbus Avenue, Medford, reported at 10:36 a.m. Saturday the theft of two bicycles valued at $1,400. Vandalism — A resident in the 2600 block of Castle Circle, Medford, reported that the windows of a vehicle had been broken out. The 3:16 a.m. vandalism caused damage estimated at $1,200. Halloween — A late-night assault that left a 20-year-old Ashland man with seven stitches in his head was the only serious incident in a frenzied Ashland Halloween night, police said. An estimated 5,000 people thronged the downtown plaza and surrounding streets, said Officer Teri DeSilva. Minor reports of vandalism and disorderly conduct kept police busy, but not overwhelmed, she said. The assault, which occurred on the Plaza a little before midnight, is being investigated. One man, Jimmy Dean Grochowski, 19, of Ashland, was arrested on a charge of first-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct after vandalizing vehicles and businesses. Damage was estimated at far more than $750, DeSilva said. Grochowski was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $8,000 bail.
