The forums are scheduled for 12:15 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. today in the Crater Room at the Red Lion Hotel in Medford. Each forum will last about an hour — with the evening session a repeat of the earlier session. Through a $70,000 Technical Assistance Grant from the State of Oregon Department of Land, Conservation and Development (DLCD), the city and MURA have hired Crandall Arambula, a Portland architectural firm, to develop preliminary plans. At each forum, the architect will seek input on: Design of the urban park block, Design of Fourth Street, Housing within Middleford Commons.
