Police: Second burglary suspect sought Jesse Michael Dornath Wednesday Apr 18, 2018 at 1:20 PM Apr 18, 2018 at 4:09 PM Nick Morgan Mail Tribune @mtcrimebeat Two men contacted by police near where an industrial business was burglarized last weekend have been named as suspects in a string of recent break-ins. Jesse Michael Dornath, 24, of the 3300 block of Eucalyptus Drive in Medford is wanted in connection with the break-ins of at least eight businesses and a vehicle along Sage Road, with losses and damage valued at several thousand dollars, according to a press release issued by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. Dornath and a co-suspect arrested Tuesday, Andrew Kyle Beck, 21, of the first block of Freeman Road, Central Point, were found walking near where a business alarm was tripped early Sunday morning in the 2100 block of Sage Road, according to the sheriff’s office. The men were identified Sunday but not apprehended, because the extent of the crimes they are now suspected of committing was not known at the time, according to the sheriff’s office. Police said burglars entered the Sage Road business by throwing a large rock through a window. A search warrant executed at Beck’s home Tuesday yielded property that matched items reported stolen from other businesses, including two-way radios, a digital camera and a wireless headset for desk phones, the sheriff’s office alleged. As of midday Wednesday, Beck remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $60,000 bail on three charges of second-degree burglary, four charges of first-degree criminal mischief, and misdemeanor charges of second- and third-degree theft. Beck had not yet been charged in Jackson County Circuit Court as of early Wednesday afternoon, and court records showed no prior criminal history for Beck in Jackson County. Police were looking for Dornath Wednesday. He has no prior criminal history in Jackson County, but court records show he was previously convicted of identity theft and second-degree theft in a 2014 Coos County case.
