Polar Express at Railroad Park: The Medford Rogue Rotary Club will present the annual Polar Express at Railroad Park from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Dec. 12 and 13, at Railroad Park off Table Rock Road in Medford. The park will be decorated for the holiday season, and kids activities will be available in Santa's workshop. Rides will be available on the miniature steam trains at $2 per person, and hot chocolate and photos with Santa will be available for purchase. Attendees are asked to park at the Rogue Valley Mall parking lot near J.C. Penney, where a free shuttle will transport park goers. Indie Folk Concert: Bellingham, Wash. indie folk band Wild Rabbit will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at Oberon's Tavern, 45 N. Main St., Ashland. The uptempo folk band incorporates a variety of influences and three distinct vocal styles, and were voted best band in their home city. Their recently recorded full-length album "The Wild North" was recorded at the noted Bear Creek Studio in Seattle where The Lumineers and Fleet Foxes have performed.
