Motorcyclists bring home silver medals Derek Steahly and Jeremy Puma, members of the Medford Motorcycle Riders Association, finished 122nd and 133rd, respectively, at the International Six Day Enduro off-road motorcycle race on Friday in Brive, France. Steahly, 19, and Puma, 22, who are cousins, made the trip on Aug. 23 and finished the six-day event with silver medals. The event, considered the Olympics of off-road racing, featured the top 600 riders world-wide. Steahly and Puma endured 100-degree heat, heavy rain and an average of 150 miles of racing each day upon various courses. The two qualified for the event in June during a two-day race in Idaho. They were members of the 40-person United States team to travel to the ISDE.
