Emergency services, June 26 Jun 26, 2022 12:00 AM A A Arrests.jpg Felony arrests Weapons — Manuel Christopher Valencia, 25, of the 2200 block of Fowler Lane, Central Point. The multi-agency Jackson County Illegal Marijuana Enforcement Taskforce arrested Valencia Thursday on a felony charge of felon in possession of a firearm, and Medford police arrested Valencia on a misdemeanor charge of second-degree theft and for violating his probation on a prior conviction for unlawfully delivering a Schedule II controlled substance. He was held in the Jackson County Jail Saturday without bail. Robbery — Derrick Nathanial Griffith, 30, of the 1200 block of Progress Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Griffith Friday on a felony charge of second-degree robbery and misdemeanor charges of third-degree theft and first-degree trespassing, and on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of felony public indecency and and second-degree trespassing. He was held in the Jackson County Jail Saturday without bail. Suspended Driving — Jesse R. Jones, 31, of the 6200 block of Sweet Lane, White City. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Jones Friday on a felony charge of driving while suspended or revoked. He was booked in the jail Friday and was no longer an inmate as of Saturday.
