A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Saturday arrested Byrd on two counts of menacing, being a felon in possession of a weapon and fourth-degree assault. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail. Drugs — Douglas Dale Wood, 30, of Maple Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Saturday arrested Wood on a charge of possession of amphetamines. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Saturday on $5,000 bail. Drugs — Brandie Dawn Ellis, 27, of the first block of Cherry Street, Central Point. A sheriff’s deputy Saturday arrested Ellis on warrants charging her with possession of amphetamines and failure to appear in court. She was lodged in jail without bail. Rape — Ryan Herbert Trent Williams, 19, no known address. A sheriff’s deputy Saturday arrested Williams on a warrant charging him with second-degree rape. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Saturday on $35,000 bail. Crime reports Burglary — 2300 block of North Pacific Highway, Medford. A Medford police officer Saturday took a report of a burglary in which someone entered a business and stole an amplifier and speakers valued at $2,000.
