Emergency services, Oct. 15 By Mail Tribune staff Oct 15, 2022 12:00 AM A A Felony arrests Criminal mischief — Joseph Donald Adams, 45, of the 100 block of Alder Street, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Adams Wednesday on charges of first-degree criminal mischief and first-degree trespassing. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance. Assault — Leo James Fleming III, 56, of the 600 block of Archwood Drive, Eagle Point. Jackson County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Fleming Wednesday on charges of felony fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence and misdemeanor harassment. He was booked in the jail Wednesday and released Thursday on his own recognizance. Weapon use — Julie Renee Herr, 54, of the 4600 block of South Pacific Highway, Medford. Medford police arrested Herr Thursday on felony charges of unlawful use of a weapon, attempting to elude police in a vehicle, resisting arrest and reckless driving. She was held in jail Friday without bail. Criminal mischief — Robert Gene Morgan Jr., 62, of the 15100 block of Highway 62, Eagle Point. Morgan made a Thursday appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a new charge of first-degree criminal mischief. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies originally arrested Morgan Sept. 26 on warrants charging him with first-degree arson and recklessly endangering another person. He was held in jail Friday on $50,000 bail. Murder — Thomas Anthony Murphy II, no known address. Jackson County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Murphy Thursday on charges of second-degree murder, two counts of attempted second-degree murder, unlawful use of a weapon and attempting to elude police in a vehicle. He was held in jail Friday without bail. Forgery — Candace Marie Scano, 39, of the 1300 block of Kime Drive, Medford. Ashland police arrested Scano Thursday on charges of first-degree forgery, first-degree theft, first-degree criminal mistreatment, identity theft and a misdemeanor charge of fraudulent use of a credit card. She was booked in jail Thursday and no longer an inmate Friday. Strangulation — Joey Boy Zach, 21, of the 100 block of North Columbus Avenue, Medford. Zach made a Thursday appearance in Circuit Court on new charges of felony strangulation, tampering with a witness, misdemeanor fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence and second-degree trespassing. He additionally appeared in Medford Municipal Court Thursday on two charges of second-degree theft. Medford police originally arrested Zach Sept. 15 for violating his probation on prior first-degree theft and vehicle theft convictions. He was held in jail Friday on $30,000 bail.
