Police and fire reports October 5 Oct 05, 2011 12:00 AM A A Police reports Friday 3:00 a.m. — Police arrested a woman on a charge of disorderly conduct near Pioneer and E. Main streets. Friday — Police arrested a 24-year-old Medford man, a 23-year-old Medford man, a 21-year-old Central Point man and a 32-year-old Ashland man on two counts of conspiracy to commit theft I and theft II in the Ashland area. The men were lodged at Jackson County Jail. Friday — Several pieces of mail were reported stolen from an Ashland woman at some point between Monday, Sept. 26 and Friday, Sept. 30. Friday — A driver struck a woman in a motorized wheelchair near the intersection of YMCA Way and Ashland Street. Friday — Police investigated an accident involving a motor vehicle and a bicyclist on Lithia Way near N. Pioneer Street. The driver of the vehicle was cited for failure to yield to a bicycle in a bike lane. Friday 6:00 p.m. — A $25 Target gift card was reported stolen from the mail. Friday — Police investigated a non-injury single-vehicle rollover crash near Schofield and N. Main streets. Saturday 2:59 a.m. — Police arrested a woman for driving under the influence of intoxicants on Jackson Road near Highway 99. Saturday — Police took an adult woman into protective custody and charged her with criminal mischief after she pulled an oxygen dispenser from a wall at Ashland Community Hospital. She was transported to Rogue Valley Medical Center. Saturday — Police cited a woman for scattering rubbish in Lithia Park. Saturday — A person was cited for theft after he was caught shoplifting at Market of Choice in the 1400 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. Saturday — Police cited a man for possession of an open container of alcohol in the first block of Water Street. Saturday 6:45 p.m. — Police cited a man for theft after he was caught shoplifting at Ashland Food Co-op. Saturday — Police cited a male for minor in possession of alcohol, and another male for providing a place for minors to drink alcohol in the Ashland area. Sunday — Police arrested a woman for driving under the influence of intoxicants in the Ashland area. Sunday — Police arrested a man for driving under the influence of intoxicants on Siskiyou Boulevard near Indiana Street. Sunday 10:18 a.m. — Police responded to a report of possible child neglect in the Ashland area. Sunday — Police cited a man for possessing an open container of alcohol in public on the Plaza. Sunday 4:10 p.m. — Police cited a known man for possessing an open container of alcohol and urinating in public in the Ashland area. Sunday 10:09 p.m. — Police took an adult man into protective custody in the Ashland area. He was transported to detox. Monday 9:57 a.m. — Police arrested a man for disorderly conduct and harassment in the Ashland area. He was lodged at Jackson County Jail. Monday 12:50 p.m. — Police received a report of theft in the Ashland area. Monday 8:45 p.m. — Police arrested a man in the Ashland area on a warrant. Monday 1:19 p.m. — AFR responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries in the area of Siskiyou Boulevard and Avery Street. Monday 3:13 p.m. — AFR responded to a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on northbound Interstate 5 near mile marker 5. Monday 4:11 p.m. — AFR responded to a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on northbound Interstate 5 near mile marker 4.
