RoseBud's Superstar: Firefighter Jacob Roggema By Robert Hastings Oct 02, 2020 03:18 PM A A This week's Superstar is Jacob Rogemma, a senior at Southern Oregon University with a major in Environmental Science and a minor in Spanish. When he doesn't have his nose in a book, he fights fires across the West Coast. He just returned from fighting the Red Salmon Complex Fire in Northern California. When you hear him speak, you'll hear the passion in his voice as he tells his story and what inspired him to fight fires and be an advocate for future fire crews.
