Medford police Monday arrested Jackson on warrants charging her with unlawful use of a motor vehicle, resisting arrest, third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree disorderly conduct as well as new charges of possession of methamphetamine, driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving. She was lodged Monday in the Jackson County Jail on $48,000 bail. Drugs — Mellisa Kristen Rogers, 29, no known address. Medford police Monday arrested Rogers on a warrant charging her with possession of methamphetamine and for failing to appear on drug and vehicle-theft charges. She was lodged Monday in jail on $165,000 bail. Drugs — Mickey Ray Galatz, 21, of the 900 block of North Central Avenue, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Galatz on charges of possession of methamphetamine and second-degree possession of a forged instrument. He was lodged Monday in jail on $15,000 bail. Drugs — Travis James Hathaway, 27, of Tigard. Ashland police Monday arrested Hathaway on charges of possession of cocaine and second-degree criminal mischief. He was lodged Monday in jail and released on his own recognizance. Vehicle theft — Benjamin Frederick Rowland, 38, of the 500 block of Western Avenue, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Rowland on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was lodged Monday in jail and released on his own recognizance. Drugs — Jillian Joan Hartman, 27, of the first block of South Peach Street, Medford. Hartman made her initial appearance Monday in Jackson County Circuit Court on a charge of possession of heroin. She was lodged Monday in jail. Drugs — Kurtis Neil Knutson, 29, of the 11600 block of Old Stage Road, Gold Hill. Rogue River police Monday arrested Knutson on charges of possession of methamphetamine and heroin as well as warrants for failing to appear on previous drug charges. He was lodged Monday in jail on $30,000 bail. Sex-offender registration — Wesley Charles Crow, 59, no known address. Medford police Sunday arrested Crow on a charge of failing to register as a sex offender. He was booked Sunday in jail and released Monday on his own recognizance. Drugs — Wilbert Ronald Crawley, 44, of the 300 block of Chestnut Street, Medford. Medford police Sunday arrested Crawley on a warrant charging him with possession of methamphetamine. He was lodged Sunday in jail and released Monday on his own recognizance. Drugs — Travis Alexander Besonette, 45, of the 1400 block of South Ivy Street, Medford. Besonette made his initial appearance in court Monday on charges of possession and delivery of methamphetamine. He was booked Monday in jail and released. Crime reports Theft — 500 block of Business Park Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report at 7:51 a.m. Monday of the theft of two bags of wrenches and sockets, a level and miscellaneous hardware from a vehicle. The loss was valued at $3,300. Theft — 1600 block of North Pacific Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report at 1:43 a.m. Monday of the theft of a purse and speakers from a vehicle as well as vandalism to a window. The loss was valued at $1,100. Theft — 200 block of Chestnut Street, Medford. Medford police took a report at 1:29 p.m. Sunday of the theft of a cell phone and mini iPad. The loss was valued at $1,150.
