A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy late Sunday arrested Holzhauser on charges of first- degree burglary, first-degree theft and first-degree criminal trespass. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail in lieu of $29,000 bail. Assault — Robert James Lawrence, 28, of the 400 block of Western Avenue, Medford. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy on Monday arrested Lawrence on a charge of third-degree assault. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail . Crime reports Burglary — 13800 block of Duggan Road, Sams Valley, Jackson County sheriff’s deputies on Monday took a report of a break-in to a residence, from which $9,000 worth of jewelry was reported stolen. Theft —2100 block of South Pacific Highway, Phoenix. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies took a report Monday of the theft of a 2001 Cadillac sedan, colored tan and sand. The theft was reported to sheriff’s deputies shortly after 2 p.m. Miscellaneous Jail releases — A total of 109 inmates were released last week from the Jackson County Jail to meet its court-ordered cap of no more than 190 inmates. Of those, 35 were released before their scheduled court appearances, 13 were granted early release from their sentences and 61 were released for miscellaneous reasons.
