The Knights (6-5), who made six 3-pointers, led 38-33 at the half before ratcheting up the effort level for a 70-45 victory over Glide. "We didn’t play a lot of defense in the first half," said North Valley coach Rob Boye, whose team committed 13 fouls to Glide’s two in the opening 16 minutes. "We started moving our feet a little better in the second half and were able to slowly pull away." Quentin Tisch led the Knights with 19 points, while Josh Makepeace added 18 and six rebounds and point guard Anthony Spain scored 13 points to go with a season-high 10 assists. Senior post Andy Shannon had his five-game streak of 20-plus points per outing snapped after registering six points. Glide’s Bo Jackson, a 6-foot-5 sophomore, burned North Valley for a game-high 22 points but was the only Wildcat to score in double figures.
