Medford police arrested Naumes Sunday on charges of intimidation and assault. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $8,000 bail. Assault — Angela Marie Ramsey, 33, of the 1300 block of Sardine Creek Road, Gold Hill. Sheriff’s deputies arrested Ramsey Sunday on charges of assault, harassment and mistreatment. She was lodged in jail on $26,000 bail. Identity Theft — Kenneth Edwin Thomas Jr., 25, of the 600 block of East Archwood Drive, Eagle Point. Medford police arrested Thomas Sunday on charges of identity theft, two counts of theft, forgery, unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and a warrant. He was held on $30,000 bail. Assault — Hector Jaime Vieyra, 18, of the 2700 block of Falcon Street, White City. Sheriff’s deputies arrested Vieyra Sunday on charges of assault and harassment. He was held on $8,000 bail. Amphetamines — Michael Joseph Atwood, 38, no address available. Medford police arrested Atwood Sunday on charges of possession and manufacturing of amphetamines and reckless driving. He was held without bail. Fire calls House Fire — A fire Sunday morning in Grants Pass destroyed a vacant house in the 1100 block of Southwest Spruce and killed a cat, fire officials report. Another house received minor heat damage during the blaze. Rural Metro Fire Department officials say the fire is suspicious in nature and will be investigated.
