For more information, contact Terri Mulder at 664-5810 or Debby Norum at 664-1800.   Phoenix wrestlers get three firsts in tourney ARCATA, Calif. -- The Phoenix High wrestling had three first-place finishers and was fourth out of 26 teams Saturday at the Arcata Rotary Invitational. Two Pirates' pinned their opponents in the finals. At 130 pounds, Phoenix's Tyler McCarty pinned Adrian Vasquez, of Hollister, Calif. Phoenix's Brandon Sousa, at 140, pinned Eddie Davis of Central Valley High in Redding, Calif., in the second round. Bryon Monical, 145, of the Pirates, needed overtime to take out Dave Giganti, of Santa Rosa, Calif., 6-4, in his finals bout. Tyler McPhee, 160, and Phil Porter, 135, each only lost one match for Phoenix to grab third-place finishes. Teammate Shawn Farrell, 171, earned fourth. The Pirates earned 150 team points, placing them just 12 points behind third-place Elk Grove, Calif. Roseburg also competed in the tournament, finishing eighth with 144 points. Henley took 20th. Phoenix hosts Henley and Rogue River on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. in a Skyline Conference meet. TOP FIVE TEAM RESULTS -- 1, Deer Valley, Calif., 185; 2, (tie) Del Norte, Calif., and San Leandro, Calif., 164; 3, Elk Grove, Calif., 162; 4, Phoenix 150; 5, Hollister, Calif., 148 1/2.   Bishop , Wallis chosen to swimming all-stars Dairian Wallis and Travis Bishop of Superior Aquatics in Medford have been selected for an all-star swimming team that will compete against other western all-star teams. Thirty-two swimmers from 68 teams were chosen to represent Oregon. Oregon will swim against Pacific, Southern California and Pacific Northwest on Jan. 22-23 in Federal Way, Wash.   Gymnasts fare well in Salem competition SALEM -- Meghan Jones, of MEGA gymnastics in Medford, captured first in four Senior-B events in a recent meet. Jones grabbed top honors in the vault, bars, beam and floor events. Teammate Heidi Guches finished first in three events to go along with a second and a third in the Junior-A division. Lindsay Meriska took home the top spot in the Junior-B vault event, while Jonnie Schmelzer captured three second-place finishes.
