Main St. Call 541-941-2463. Free Admission Day at ScienceWorks: The museum, 1500 E. Main St., Ashland, hosts exhibits year-round that explore energy, anatomy, chemistry, perception, motion, engineering and more.The exhibit Toy Science opens Saturday, Nov. 22, and runs through January with game-style exhibits demonstrating physics, math and strategy. The popular exhibit Sportsology has returned to the museum and features Vertical Vault, Action Reaction Wall, Great Grip, Wheelchair Racer, Pitching Cage and Hang Time. Visitors can test their athletic abilities while learning how their bodies work. The Sportsology exhibit will run until March 1. Admission costs $9, $7 for children 2 to 12 and adults older than 65. Admission is free on the first Wednesday of every month. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday in the fall, winter and spring.
