The schools are already strapped for money, and this seems like an extra financial burden to take on. — Mel F., Medford You’re right, Mel. Busing will cost more. But the Medford School District gets reimbursed for 70 percent of its transportation costs from the state, taking care of most of the bill. Even if a third high school is built, students will still have to be bused. Students will also have to be bused to the new middle school.
