Oakdale Ave., Medford. A book group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, at Hafer House near the church to discuss "Abraham: A Journey to the Heart of Three Faiths" by Bruce Feller. The church will soon begin its Academy of Learning classes, one preparing high school students for a trip to Italy and Germany, and one preparing adults for a trip to Germany.
