Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Morgan Wednesday on a felony charge of supplying contraband and possessing methamphetamine, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of manufacturing, distributing and possessing meth and cocaine, and felon in possession of a restricted weapon. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday and released on his own recognizance. Drugs — Juvenal Adan Vega, 30, of the 1700 block of Louise Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Vega Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and for violating his parole on a previous identity theft conviction. He was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail. Drugs — Jared Lee Swindell, 27, of the 4100 block of Grant Road, Central Point. Medford police arrested Swindell Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing methamphetamine, possessing heroin, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, attempting to elude police in a vehicle, second-degree theft, second-degree trespassing and reckless driving. He was booked in the jail and released Wednesday because of overcrowding. Contraband — Marcella Faye Melgoza, 27, of the 800 block of East Ninth Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Melgoza Wednesday on felony charges of supplying contraband and possessing heroin and cocaine. She was booked in the jail and released Wednesday because of overcrowding. Forgery — Santino Armando Moreno, 36, of Fresno, California. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Moreno Wednesday on a felony charge of first-degree possession of a forged instrument, a misdemeanor charge of providing false information to police and on a California warrant. He was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail. Drugs — Jessica Mariscal, 20, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Mariscal Wednesday on felony warrants for distributing and possessing methamphetamine. She was lodged in jail Wednesday on $30,000 bail. Drugs — Joseph Emanuel Ledbetter, 20, no known address. Medford police arrested Ledbetter Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, a misdemeanor charge of second-degree theft and on warrants for failing to appear in court on charges possessing methamphetamine and heroin. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $30,000 bail. Drugs — Raymond James Bailey, 24, no known address. Medford police arrested Bailey Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $12,500 bail. Crime reports  Theft — 2400 block of Northbrook Circle, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 5:43 a.m. Tuesday. Items reported stolen included a laptop computer, TV and miscellaneous medications. The loss was valued at $1,000. Theft — 1400 block of Yucca Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. A 15-inch Apple MacBook Pro with Retina Display was reported stolen. The loss was valued at $2,700. Theft — 3000 block of Lazy Creek Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 8:43 a.m. Tuesday. Items reported stolen included a black leather bag containing an Apple iPad, a black backpack and gray Nike shoes. The loss was valued at $1,090. Theft — 2200 block of Capital Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen electric bike at 6:46 p.m. Tuesday. The loss was valued at $2,500. Theft — 2000 block of Amy Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 5:59 a.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included an HP laptop, a multi-drawer toolbox containing a socket set, a black Dell laptop, a home stereo, two Barnes & Noble e-readers, Vizio TV and an outdoor thermometer. The loss was valued at $3,425. Theft — 200 block of West Main Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a business at 7:12 a.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included multiple iPads, a digital projector, old fishing reels, a typewriter, leather briefcase, graphing calculator and a signed baseball. The loss was valued at $2,567. Theft — 2200 block of Table Rock Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft at 11:04 a.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included an 18-karat gold necklace, a gold leaf ring and a diamond dinner ring. The loss was valued at $1,000.
