Emergency services, May 14 May 14, 2021 08:00 AM A A Felony arrests Drugs — Cody Charles Benson, 33, of the 2400 block of Gardner Road, Eagle Point. Medford police and Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Benson Wednesday on felony charges of delivering and possessing methamphetamine and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and misdemeanor warrants charging him with unlawfully delivering a Schedule I controlled substance, possessing methamphetamine and third-degree theft. He was additionally charged Thursday in Jackson County Circuit Court on felony charges of possessing a Schedule II controlled substance and delivering meth, and misdemeanor counts of second-degree trespassing and third-degree criminal mischief. He was held in the Jackson County Jail Thursday on $80,000 bail. Drugs — Stefan Michael Meeds, 31, of the first block of North Columbus, Medford. Medford police arrested Meeds Wednesday on a felony warrant charging him with possessing less than an ounce of methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail Wednesday and released Thursday on his own recognizance. Impaired Driving — Salvador Sabino, 27, of the 300 block of East 12th Street, medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Sabino Wednesday on a felony charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants and misdemeanor charges of reckless driving and recklessly endangering another person. He was booked in the jail Wednesday and released Thursday on his own recognizance. Marijuana Crime — Luke Wade Bishop, 35, of the 500 block of South Platt Place, Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Bishop Thursday on felony charges of unlawfully manufacturing, delivering and possessing a marijuana item and laundering a monetary instrument. He was held in jail Thursday on $32,500 bail. Drugs — Saul Gutierrez, 33, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Gutierrez Thursday on a felony warrant charging him with possessing heroin, and misdemeanor warrants charging him with driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving, recklessly endangering another person, and violating his probation on prior meth and heroin possession convictions. He was held in jail Thursday on $44,000 bail. Vehicle Theft — Mariah Lyn McGovern, 26, of the 16300 block of Highway 238, Grants Pass. Medford police arrested McGovern on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a felony warrant charging her with possessing heroin, misdemeanor warrants for possessing methamphetamine and tampering with evidence, and on out-of-county warrants. She was held in jail Thursday on $105,000 bail.
