A Medford police officer Saturday arrested Mahoney on warrants charging him with first-degree theft, unlawful use of a vehicle and second-degree theft. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained Saturday night on $25,000 bail. Drugs, weapons, escape — Jesse Alton Perkins, 30, of Cottonwood, Calif. A Medford police officer Saturday arrested Perkins on two counts of resisting arrest, two counts of disorderly conduct, two counts of harassment, possession of amphetamines, second-degree escape, being a felon in possession of a firearm, third-degree theft, carrying a concealed weapon, third-degree criminal mischief and fourth-degree assault. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Saturday on $111,000 bail. Drugs — Christopher Michael Rock, 21, of the 2700 block of Orchard Home Drive, Medford. A Medford police officer late Friday arrested Rock on charges of possession of amphetamines, supplying contraband and a probation violation. He was lodged in jail without bail. Crime reports Burglary — 200 block of Janney Lane, Medford. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Saturday took a report of a burglary to a home. Total damages were estimated at $100. Vehicle theft — 2300 block of East Barnett Road, Medford. A Medford police officer Saturday took a report of a theft in which a white 1989 Honda Civic was stolen. Vehicle theft — 700 block of Royal Avenue, Medford. A Medford police officer Saturday took a report of a theft in which a green 1994 Mazda van was stolen.
