Oregon Road Conditions & Cams Advertisement Email Story to a Friend July 3, 2005 Emergency Services Felony arrests Vehicle theft — Carrie Ann Rose Zech, 34, of the 5700 block of Dodge Road, White City. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy late Friday arrested Zech on a charge of unlawful use of a motor vehicle. He was lodged in Jackson County Jail and later released because of overcrowding. Drugs — Cassandra June Damon, 30, of the 11000 block of Highway 234, Gold Hill. A Gold Hill police officer late Friday arrested Damon on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. She was lodged in jail and later released because of overcrowding. Drugs, weapon possession — George William Purdy, 54, of the 600 block of Catherine Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Saturday arrested Purdy on charges of possession of methadone, possession of a weapon by a felon, strangulation, menacing and harassment. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Saturday on $25,000 bail. Crime reports Theft — 3400 block of Avenue C, White City. A sheriff’s deputy Saturday took a report in which tools from a horse trailer were stolen. The total value of the tools was $1,000. Theft — 1200 block of West Main Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Saturday took a report in which a dirt bike valued at $995 was stolen. Vehicle Theft — 500 block of Grape Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Saturday took a report in which a silver 1995 Subaru Legacy was stolen. The value of the car is unknown.
