Eagle Point police arrested Fuentez Friday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, a misdemeanor charge of contempt, and for failure to appear in court on felony charges of meth possession, hydrocodone possession, oxycodone possession and first-degree theft. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail and released because of overcrowding. Attempted Rape — Michael David Emmel, 47, of the 1000 block of Pine Street, Rogue River. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Emmel Friday on felony charges of attempted first-degree rape, first-degree sodomy, first-degree sexual abuse and first-degree sexual penetration. He was lodged in jail Friday on $500,000 bail. Drugs — Mario Alberto Fletes, 24, no known address. Medford police arrested Fletes Friday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest and providing false information to police, and for violating his parole on a previous meth possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Friday without bail. Drugs — Melinda Noel Blyly, 25, no known address. Medford police arrested Blyly Friday on a felony charge of oxycodone possession, and on a sanction for a previous oxycodone possession charge. She was lodged in jail Friday without bail. Drugs — Brandon Ray Wilson, 26, of the 800 block of Gibbon Road, Central Point. Medford police arrested Wilson Friday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession. He was booked in jail Friday. Court Appearance — David Alan Wilson II, 32, of the 300 block of Mountain View Drive, Talent. On Friday, Wilson made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of failure to register his address in the sex offender registry, and a misdemeanor charge of failing to register on his birthday. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance. Drugs — Levar Christopher Handy, 24, no known address. Medford police arrested Handy Friday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, a warrant charging failure to appear on a felony charge of meth possession, a warrant for failure to appear on misdemeanor charges of first-degree trespassing and providing false information to police. He was lodged in jail Friday on $25,000 bail. Crime reports Theft — Medford police took a report of theft at 7:59 a.m. Friday in the 5200 block of Rainbow Drive, Medford. Items reported stolen included gasoline, miscellaneous hand tools, a ranchers hitch, a vehicle diagnostic reader, a Streamlight flashlight and gas card. The loss was valued at $2,476. Theft — Medford police took a report of a theft of prescription medication at 10:27 a.m. Friday in the 2300 block of Silver Palm Drive. The loss was valued at $3,000. Theft — Medford police took a report of lost property at 3:46 p.m. in the 500 block of Medford Center. A self-winding Rolex watch in an oyster shell case was reported missing. The loss was valued at $3,000.
