The Black Tornado, which lost 7-1 to the Indians three weeks ago, split the four singles matches and took three of four in doubles. "(Roseburg) was the team to beat until tonight," said North coach Larry Fields. Tornado freshmen David Longmire and Mike Tribble outlasted Josh Borelli and Andrew Besson in the No. 1 doubles match, 7-5, 3-6, 6-2. Besson, who serves from 110 to 115 miles per hour, Fields said, provided a difficult challenge to the North Medford duo. "It was a pretty good victory because they broke (Besson’s serve) two or three times," Fields said. "They played a pretty smart doubles match."
