Medford police added a charge Wednesday of first-degree theft and six counts of felony negotiating a bad check to drug charges on which Smith was jailed on Dec. 12. She remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $95,000 bail. Drugs — Robert Timothy Everett, 34, of the 1800 block of Inner Circle, Medford. Medford police arrested Everett late Tuesday on charges of possession of amphetamines, driving with a suspended license and probation violation. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Wednesday night on $15,000 bail. Assault — Neigel Von Hruska, 27, of the 1700 block of Farr Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Hruska early Wednesday on charges of felony fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was released on his own recognizance Wednesday morning. Theft — Eric One Ziegler, 30, no address listed. Medford police arrested Ziegler Wednesday on two counts each of identity theft and second-degree forgery and charges of second- degree theft, conspiracy to commit first-degree forgery, conspiracy to commit identity theft and conspiracy to commit second-degree theft. He was lodged in jail on $34,000 bail. Assault — Brandon Riley Creech, 22, no address listed. Ashland police arrested Creech on a fugitive warrant out of California charging him with assault. He was lodged without bail. Assault — Martin Keith Lewis, 38, of the 400 block of North Ninth Street, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Lewis Wednesday on a warrant charging him with felony fourth-degree assault. He was lodged in jail on $20,000 bail. Advertisement Assault — Scott Daniel Smith, 21, no address listed. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy arrested Smith Wednesday on warrants charging him with two counts of third-degree assault and a count of first-degree mistreatment. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Wednesday night. Theft — Katherine Lynne Morris, 46, no address listed. Medford police arrested Morris Wednesday on charges of first-degree theft, first-degree forgery and conspiracy to commit computer crime. She was lodged in jail, where she remained Wednesday night on $15,000 bail. Drugs — Daniel Eugene Raper, 28, of Crescent City, Calif. Medford police arrested Raper Wednesday on a charge of possession of amphetamines. He was lodged in jail, then released Wednesday night because of crowded conditions. Theft — Carrie Denise Miller, 37, of the 300 block of South Stage Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Miller Wednesday on charges of first-degree theft, identity theft, computer crime and two counts of first-degree forgery. She was lodged in jail on $25,000 bail. Drugs — Casimiro Zaragoza-Infante, 32, no address listed. Zaragoza-Infante was arrested Wednesday on charges of possession of amphetamines and being an illegal alien. He was lodged in jail without bail. Drugs — Jordan William Levine, 24, no address listed. A sheriff’s deputy arrested Levine Wednesday on charges of possession, manufacture and delivery of marijuana. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Wednesday night on $50,000 bail. Theft — Kevin Mark Clark, 30, no address listed. Medford police arrested Clark Wednesday on charges of first- and third-degree theft, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Wednesday night on $33,000 bail. Drugs — Eric LaShawn Mitchell, 27, of Salem. Mitchell appeared in Jackson County Circuit Court Wednesday on an indictment charging him with possession of amphetamines, carrying a concealed gun and driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was booked into jail and released. Drugs — Brian James Stohlman, 22, of Cave Junction. Stohlman appeared in Circuit Court Wednesday on an indictment charging him with two counts of unlawful possession of ephedrine. He was booked into jail and released. Drugs — David Robert Morck, 26, of Troy, Mich. Morck appeared in Circuit Court Wednesday on an indictment charging him with possession of amphetamines. He was booked into jail and released. Crime reports Assault — 700 block of West Eighth Street, Medford. Oregon State Police and the sheriff’s department are investigating an assault that happened Tuesday night at the Jackson County Jail. An inmate injured in the attack was taken to a hospital by ambulance, but was treated and released back into jail, Sheriff Mike Winters said. Fire calls Car fire — 200 block of North Platt Place, Eagle Point. Jackson County Fire District No. 3 crews went to a reported car fire at 11:57 a.m. Wednesday. The fire started in the engine compartment of a Chrysler, which was destroyed in the blaze. The driver had escaped and was no longer at the scene when firefighters arrived. Power line down — 200 block of Ivy Street, Medford. Medford fire department and utility crews responded to a report shortly after 3 p.m. Wednesday that a section of an oak tree fell and knocked down power lines. Fire officials said they kept residents of several homes in the block inside until the power was cut to the downed lines. Utility crews and a tree service then went to work to make the area safe, firefighters said.
