Parks and Recreation summer programming will also include Dog Days at Hawthorne Aquatic Center. In 2004 this event welcomed more than 50 dogs and their handlers to enjoy a refreshing dip just before the pool was drained for the summer. Also destined to become a favorite is Hawaiian BBQ Nights at Jackson Aquatic Center. Contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 774-2400 or visit ci.medford.or.us/parks.
