Bulldog boxers fare well at tournament RENO, Nevada - Four fighters from the Bulldog Boxing Club of Medford won bouts on a card Saturday, including two who qualified for the Junior Olympic regionals this week in Pocatello, Idaho. Jose Cabrera and Boone Wyatt qualified. Cabrera defeated Yiar Perez of Portland in a boxoff in the 125-pound, 15-16 age division. Wyatt hadn't fought in two years, yet posted his 36th career win for the Bulldogs with a resounding victory over Mike Loe of Carson City, Nevada. Wyatt, in the 147-pound, 15-16 class, rocked Loe with a hook at the outset, resulting in the first of two standing eight counts in the first round, then stopped him early in the second.
