Crime Stoppers of Southern Oregon and area law enforcement now need help in locating convicted felon Emmett Norman Calhoun. In May 1993, Calhoun was indicted on multiple counts of first-degree sexual abuse and sodomy. He pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual abuse and was sentenced to nine months of jail and 10 years of probation. After violating the terms of his probation, he was sentenced to 22 months in prison. He was released in July 1995, violated his parole and was sent back to prison in September 1996. Since his release in December 1996, Calhoun repeatedly has violated the conditions of his parole and two felony warrants have been issued for his arrest. Calhoun has been designated as a predator sex offender because his offenses involved multiple juvenile males. He is required by law to register his new address within 10 days of moving or within 10 days of his birthday. The last time Calhoun registered was Oct. 9, 2001, in Medford. Advertisement Calhoun, born Oct. 17, 1950, is described as a white male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing about 208 pounds. He has brown eyes and gray hair. Calhoun has a tattoo of two hearts on his upper right arm, a 10-inch scar on his back and two scars on his left thigh. Calhoun may be wearing glasses. Calhoun also uses the aliases of Butch Calhoun or Butch Calhound. The picture shown here, taken on Oct. 9, 2001, is the most recent image available.
