Phoenix police arrested Levack Monday night on charges of third-degree rape, third-degree sodomy, third-degree sexual abuse, and contributing to the sexual delinquency of a minor. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $18,000 bail, then was released on his own recognizance Tuesday morning. Burglary — Curtis Douglas Patton, 17, no address listed. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy arrested Patton Tuesday on a warrant charging him with first-degree burglary. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Tuesday night on $10,000 bail. Criminal mischief — Summer Marie Deane, 22, of the first block of Bigham Brown Road, Eagle Point. A sheriff’s deputy arrested Deane Tuesday on charges of first-degree criminal mischief and harassment. She was lodged in jail, where she remained Tuesday night on $8,000 bail. Drugs — James Jay Landers, 43, of the 700 block of Hemlock Street, Central Point. Medford police arrested Landers on a charge of possession of amphetamines. He was lodged in jail until he posted cash on $5,000 bail and was released Tuesday night. Drugs — Mark Andrew Newberger, 50, of the 9900 block of Mount Ashland Ski Road, Ashland. Newberger appeared in Jackson County Circuit Court Tuesday on an indictment charging him with possession and delivery of amphetamines. He was booked into jail and released. Drugs — Jeffrey Howard Wells, 38, of the 2400 block of Greenridge Drive, Medford. Wells appeared in Circuit Court Tuesday on an indictment charging him with possession of amphetamines. He was booked into jail and released. Crime reports Burglary — 2100 block of South Peach Street, Medford. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy took a report of a burglary in which $1,500 worth of tattooing equipment was taken. Burglary — first block of Tomahawk Road, Jacksonville. A sheriff’s deputy took a report of a burglary in which someone apparently entered a home through an open window and took cash and household items.
