By Ryan Pfeil Mail Tribune March 13. 2015 3:35PM Medford man gets 4 years for burglaries A Medford man accused of swiping more than $11,000 worth of property from three Medford homes in January was sentenced Friday to four years in prison, according to the Jackson County District Attorney's Office. Jordan Ronald Lundgren, 23, pleaded no contest to three counts of first-degree burglary in Jackson County Circuit Court. He also will serve three years of post-prison supervision upon his release and must pay $6,281.17 in restitution, according to court records. Two additional counts of first-degree burglary, two counts of first-degree theft and a count of unauthorized use of a vehicle were dropped. A probable-cause affidavit says police responded to three burglaries Jan. 6, two in the 2200 block of Aloha Avenue and one in the 900 block of Sunrise Avenue. Police said Lundgren left the door to one of the ransacked houses open, allowing a dog to run out of the house into the street where a car struck and killed it. The burglaries all happened between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. that day, the affidavit states. Deputy District Attorney Jeremy Markiewicz said Lundgren took two laptop computers, a television, jewelry, a DVD player, two video game consoles, a motorcycle helmet and a camera. "It was predominantly just electronics," Markiewicz said. The camera later popped up at a pawn shop, and police followed the trail back to Lundgren's home at 1520 Miracle Lane, where he was later arrested. Some of the property was recovered, including one of the laptops and jewelry.
