Ashland Senior Phone Buddy Program: Make a difference in someone’s day from the comfort of your home. Make regular social phone calls to an older adult buddy. CASA of Jackson County is in need of committed and compassionate volunteers who will serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates for abused and neglected children. Volunteers are specially trained to advocate for children in the pursuit of safe and permanent homes. This opportunity is only for volunteers 21 and older. Medford Police Department is looking for volunteers to perform handicap parking patrol, school patrol and park patrol. An Oregon driver’s license is required and comprehensive training is provided.
