Memorial service set for 10-year-old victim Family and friends of Sean Harrington, who died in a house fire in Eagle Point, will remember the 10-year-boy Friday during a memorial service. Sean died Jan. 12 after an unattended candle ignited a blaze in his Butte Falls Highway home. Sean was unable to get out of the house and firefighters discovered his body in an upstairs bedroom. His mother, Diana, and baby sister also were injured. The memorial service is set for 11 a.m. in the Applegate Christian Fellowship, 7590 Highway 238, Jacksonville. Sean was born June 24, 1989, in Klamath Falls. He moved to Eagle Point with his family in 1996. Family members said Sean enjoyed hunting, fishing and drawing. He also was interested in dinosaurs and the Titanic. Diana Harrington remained in fair condition late Wednesday at Rogue Valley Medical Center, where she is being treated for smoke inhalation. The Harrington's baby daughter, 2-year-old Hannah, was in serious condition Wednesday night at the Legacy Emanuel Hospital burn unit in Portland. She is being treated for second- and third-degree burns. Mail Tribune Copyright   The Mail Tribune 2000, Medford, Oregon USA
