Western Baptist knocks off SOU NAMPA, IDAHO -- Southern Oregon University lost to Western Baptist in the semifinals of the Cascade Conference Volleyball Tournament Friday. The Raiders defeated Western Baptist in the opening game of the best-of-5 match 15-12, then dropped three straight games to the Warriors 15-5, 16-14, 15-11. Southern Oregon defeated Oregon Tech 15-5, 15-11, 15-7 to advance to the semifinals earlier in the day. Top-seeded Northwest Nazarene will face Western Baptist in the championship match today.
