Elizabeth Institute donates pink socks to AHS soccer Sep 26, 2014 12:00 AM A A The Ashland High School boys and girls soccer teams will be wearing pink socks for the month of October thanks to a donation from the Elizabeth Institute of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Ashland. The Grizzly boys will host seven games in October and the girls six. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Both teams will host their first October home games on Friday against North Eugene. Dr. Margo Herron of the Elizabeth Institute performs breast reconstruction for breast cancer patients in the Rogue Valley.
