Felony arrests Vehicle Theft — Alberto Diaz-Aispuro, 30, no known address. Medford police arrested Diaz-Aispuro Tuesday in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was additionally sentenced in Jackson County Circuit Court Tuesday on an earlier misdemeanor driving while suspended conviction. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Tuesday without bail. Arson — Nicholas Gentry Brown, 18, no known address. Central Point police arrested Brown Tuesday on felony charges of first-degree arson, first-degree burglary and first-degree criminal mischief, and on misdemeanor charges of reckless burning and first-degree trespassing. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $57,500 bail. Drugs — Melissa Mary Yeoman, 40, of the 300 block of Chestnut Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Yeoman Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing heroin. She was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on her own recognizance. Drugs — Yukon Jerek Smith, 40, no known address. Medford police arrested Smith Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, and on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing methamphetamine, possessing heroin, resisting arrest, carrying a concealed weapon and second-degree disorderly conduct. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $20,000 bail. Crime reports Vandalism — 1100 block of East Barnett Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a business at 12:11 a.m. Tuesday. A two-pane window was reported damaged. The damage was valued at $600. Theft — 1800 block of Pinedale Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 9:01 a.m. Tuesday. Items reported stolen included a GPS device, tools, a garage door opener, 4 CDs and a checkbook. The loss was valued at $341. Theft — 400 block of Berrydale Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 10:32 a.m. Tuesday. Items reported stolen included prescription sunglasses and a garage door opener. The loss was valued at $538. Theft — 1100 block of Woodrow Lane, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a business at 12:07 p.m. Tuesday. Hair cutting scissors valued at $6,000 were reported stolen. Theft — 1100 block of Woodrow Lane, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 12:18 p.m. Tuesday. Items reported stolen included a first aid kit, mace, club and whistle, two packs of American Spirit cigarettes, vehicle registration, tapes and other items from the center console. The loss was valued at $64. Theft — 1000 block of Biddle Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft at 2:25 p.m. Tuesday. Items reported stolen included six boxes of hair dye and six DVDs. The loss was valued at $20.
