Emergency services, Oct. 20 Thursday Oct 20, 2016 at 12:05 AM Felony arrests Kidnapping — Ronald L. Harris, 51, of the 600 block of Eagle Mill Road, Ashland. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Harris Tuesday on felony charges of first-degree kidnapping, first- and second-degree assault, coercion, a misdemeanor charge of menacing and a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous trespassing charge. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail Tuesday on $100,000 bail. Drugs — Lindsey Leigh Sholes, 23, of the 1300 block of Wineteer Lane, Grants Pass. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Sholes Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing heroin and on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a third-degree theft charge. She was booked in the jail Tuesday and released on her own recognizance. Drugs — Sean Thomas Hodgkins Jr., 21, of the 1000 block of Oakhurst Drive, Central Point. Medford police arrested Hodgkins Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, and on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous third-degree theft charge. He was booked in the jail Wednesday and released on his own recognizance. Drugs — Miguel Francisco Villa, 28, of the 200 block of West Evans Creek Road, Rogue River. Medford police arrested Villa Wednesday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, misdemeanor charges of harassment, attempted fourth-degree assault, and for violating his parole on a previous first-degree burglary conviction. He was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail. Court Appearance — Gregory Guy Valencia, 47, no known address. On Wednesday, Valencia made his initial court appearance on three felony counts of fourth-degree assault, and on misdemeanor counts of fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was booked in the jail Wednesday and released on his own recognizance. Drugs — Curtis James Carr, 30, no known address. Medford police arrested Carr Wednesday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession and a misdemeanor charge of failing to register his address as a sex offender. He was booked in the jail Wednesday and released on his own recognizance. Drugs — Michael Dale Webb, 47, of the 1300 block of La Loma Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Webb Wednesday on a felony charge of methamphetamine, and on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous meth possession charge. He was booked in the jail Wednesday and released. Drugs — Danielle Cassidy Stanford, 39, of the 2700 block of Ruth Drive, Medfod. Medford police arrested Stanford Wednesday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of meth possession and second-degree theft, and on a sanction for violating her probation on a previous meth possession charge. She was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail. Crime reports Theft — 3100 block of Forest Hills Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 6:32 a.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included clothing in a purple suitcase, a car seat, stroller, makeup bag and driver license. The loss was valued at $1,300. Theft — 3100 block of Forest Hills Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vehicle break-in and stolen firearms at 7:39 a.m. Wednesday. Both guns were described as Tikka bolt-action rifles. The loss and damage to the vehicle window was valued at $3,750. Warrant — 2200 block of Biddle Road, Medford. Medford police surrounded the Ramada Inn just after 11 a.m. Wednesday while attempting to serve a warrant on a robbery suspect. Police declined to elaborate while the suspect is outstanding.
