Emergency Services, July 26 By Mail Tribune staff Updated: Jul 26, 2022 06:10 PM A A Felony arrests Domestic violence — Kij Wess Beeler-Joplin, 29, of the 100 block of North Columbus Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Beeler-Joplin Saturday for second-degree robbery constituting domestic violence and unlawful use of a weapon constituting domestic violence. He also was charged with a misdemeanor count of menacing. He was booked at the Jackson County Jail and held without bail. Arson — Jorge Cabrera, 28, of the 1300 block of North Central Avenue, Medford. Central Point police arrested Cabrera on felony charges of attempted arson, attempted reckless burning and a misdemeanor of false information to a police officer. He was then interviewed and charged by Medford police with a felony charge of first-degree arson and a misdemeanor of reckless endangering. He was booked at the Jackson County Jail and held without bail. Burglary — William Raymond Ophardt III, 30, no known address. Medford police arrested Ophardt Sunday on felony charges of first-degree burglary and first-degree criminal mischief. Ophardt was booked into the Jackson County Jail and released Sunday on his own recognizance. Criminal mischief — Edgar Aguilar, 19, of the 1100 block of Crown Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Aguilar Monday on felony charges of criminal mischief in the first-degree, with a misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief in the third-degree and second-degree disorderly conduct. Aguilar was booked at the Jackson County Jail and released Monday on his own recognizance. Drugs — Jason Allen Burkett, 44, no known address. Medford police arrested Burkett Monday on a felony charge of unlawful delivery of methamphetamine and a misdemeanor charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail and released Monday on his own recognizance. Identity theft — Antonieo Marco Paez, 27, of the 200 block of North Ivy Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Paez Monday on a felony charge of identity theft and misdemeanor charges of providing false information to a peace officer and driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail and released Monday on his own recognizance.
