With the defeat, Medford is eliminated from the tournament after posting a 2-3 record. Andrew Jones struck out six in six innings of work for Medford. Johnathon Adamson and Skyler Mlasko each had RBIs in the loss. Advertisement On Sunday, Medford rallied from a 5-1 deficit to post a 7-5 win over Boseman, Mont. Adamson pitched the final five innings of shutout ball to record the win and had two hits to go along with two runs scored. Logan Odom went 4-for-4 with three RBIs to lead the Medford attack. Little League Baseball 11-12-YEAR-OLD STATE TOURNAMENT — At Hermiston, Medford American Blue will play for third place after dropping a 4-3 decision to Gresham during a semifinal contest on Monday. Medford takes on Keizer today at 9 a.m. in the third-place game, while Gresham and Murray Hills of Beaverton face off for the state title. Medford held a 3-0 lead heading into the sixth inning, but Gresham answered with four runs to seal the win. Collin Sowers had two hits and an RBI and Tyler Spears also contributed a pair of hits. Teammate Jordan Ellis smacked a solo home run in the fifth inning. Ellis also took the pitching loss, despite giving up just three hits and striking out 10.
