Jackson County Narcotics Enforcement Team agents arrested Gibson Thursday on charges of manufacturing or delivering controlled substances near a school and possession of amphetamines. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained late Thursday on $50,000 bail. Weapons — Jesse Cole Riker, 22, of the 3000 block of Merriman Road, Medford. A Medford police officer arrested Riker Thursday on charges of being a felon in possession of a weapon and attempting to use or carry a weapon. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Thursday on $15,000 bail. Burglary, theft — William Andrew Gass Jr., 18, of the 13800 block of Antioch Road, White City. Gass appeared in Jackson County Circuit Court Thursday on an indictment charging him with three counts of first-degree burglary, three counts of first-degree theft and second-degree theft. He was booked into jail then released on his own recognizance. Burglary — Renee Claire Jacques, 40, of the 100 block of Reager Street, Medford. A Medford police officer arrested Jacques Thursday on a charge of first-degree burglary. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Thursday on $20,000 bail. Identity theft — Paul Edward Nichols, 55, of Gold Hill. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy arrested Nichols Thursday on charges of identity theft, driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving, providing false information to police about a crime and first-degree criminal mischief. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Thursday on $21,000 bail. Crime reports Vehicle theft — Intersection of East Evans Creek Road and Minthorne Road. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy took a report Thursday of a theft in which a 1989 Buick Skylark, Oregon license plate PVS 082, was stolen. Theft — 300 block of Ardmore Avenue, Medford. A Medford police officer took a report Thursday of a theft in which a check for $3,100 was stolen. Theft — First block of Myers Court, Medford. A Medford police officer took a report Thursday of a theft in which a floor buffer valued at $3,000 was stolen.
