Jackson County sheriff’s deputies early Monday arrested Smith on charges of possession of amphetamines, possession of contraband and for violating the conditions of his parole from a previous burglary conviction. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail. Drugs — Travis Brent Cavalli, 29, of the 1000 block of Crater Lake Highway, Medford. Medford police on Monday arrested Cavalli on charges of possession of amphetamines and failing to appear on a previous felony drug charge. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, then released on his own recognizance because of overcrowding. Theft — Jessie Lee Boyd, 22, of the 600 block of Berrydale Avenue, Medford. Boyd made his initial appearance Monday in Jackson County Circuit Court on four counts of first-degree theft, and one count each of first-degree burglary and being a convicted felon in possession of a weapon. He was processed at the Jackson County Jail, then released on his own recognizance. Forgery — Brendyn Garrett Shiflea, 19, of the 1400 block of Oregon Street, Ashland. Ashland police on Monday arrested Shiflea on 12 counts of first-degree forgery and six counts of possession of counterfeit license forms. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail in lieu of $240,000 bail.
