Emergency services, April 27 Thursday Apr 27, 2017 at 12:05 AM Felony arrests Fraud — Thomas Charles Guzzo, 28, of the 600 block of Northwood Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Guzzo Wednesday on additional felony charges of fraudulent use of a credit card, first-degree theft and identity theft, and on misdemeanor counts of second-degree theft. Jackson County Sheriff's deputies originally arrested Guzzo April 16 on a California warrant. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday without bail. Drugs — Skyler Salvatore Licato, 25, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Licato Tuesday on felony counts of possessing methamphetamine and hydrocodone and on a misdemeanor count of possessing a Schedule IV controlled substance. He was lodged in the jail Thursday without bail. Drugs — Marcella Faye Melgoza, 28, of the 1400 block of Prune Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Melgoza Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing heroin and methamphetamine, negotiating a bad check, third-degree theft and resisting arrest. She was booked in the jail and released Wednesday because of overcrowding. Drugs — Michael Anthony Schalz-Hall, 23, no known address. Medford police arrested Schalz-Hall Wednesday on a felony count of possessing methamphetamine, on misdemeanor charges of second-degree trespassing and interfering with police, on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous meth-possession charge, and on a sanction for violating his probation on a previous charge of hit-and-run to an injured person. He was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail. Drugs — Christopher Lee Trimmer, 27, of Sparks, Nevada. On Wednesday, Trimmer made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of possessing hydrocodone and on a misdemeanor charge of possessing a Schedule IV controlled substance. He was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on his own recognizance. Robbery — James Robert Bennett, 36, no known address. Medford police arrested Bennett Wednesday on a felony charge of second-degree robbery. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $100,000 bail. Drugs — Barbara Lynn Sargent, 49, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Sargent Wednesday on felony counts of manufacturing, distributing and possessing methamphetamine. She was lodged in jail Wednesday on more than $1 million bail. Drugs — Robert Paul Thomas, 42, no known address. Medford police arrested Thomas Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing meth and felon in possession of a restricted weapon. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $12,500 bail. Vehicle Theft — Casey Andrew Mock, 25, no known address. Medford police arrested Mock Wednesday on felony counts of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possessing a stolen vehicle and possessing methamphetamine, and for violating his parole on a previous conviction for criminally negligent homicide. He was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail. Crime reports Theft — 1900 block of Biddle Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vehicle theft at 1:43 a.m. Monday. Items inside the vehicle included multiple boxes of clothing, a 36-inch RCA TV and makeup, a hairdryer and other toiletries. The loss was valued at $2,500. Theft — Shamrock Drive and Windsong Lane, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 7:37 a.m. Monday. Items reported stolen included a Makita jackhammer, Bosch optic level, a Makita roto hammer and a Skil saw. The loss was valued at $2,750. Theft — 500 block of Parsons Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of stolen sewing model at 11:24 a.m. Monday. The loss was valued at $4,500. Theft — 1700 block of Delta Waters Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen 1976 Rolex watch at 11:43 a.m. Monday. The loss was valued at $8,000. Theft — 1100 block of Niantic Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of stolen chainsaws at 5:28 p.m. Monday. The stolen chainsaws included seven larger Stihl models and two smaller ones, and the loss was valued at $10,900. Theft — 2000 block of Hospitality Way, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft from a vehicle at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday. items reported stolen included a Nikon D3500 with two lenses, and a bag and backpack containing clothes. The loss was valued at $2,500. Theft/vandalism — 2800 block of Bullock Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft and vandalism at 8:12 a.m. Wednesday. A fence line was reported cut, as was a fuel line from a vehicle. Items reported stolen included 20 gallons of gasoline from a vehicle, and tools including a ladder, shovel, rake and pressure hoses. The loss and damage was valued at $1,260.
