North Valley dominates Skyline all-stars The North Valley football team ran roughshod over the Skyline Conference all season, and the all-conference squad is another Knights-dominated affair. After finishing 10-1, including 6-0 in the Skyline, North Valley has 10 first-team all-Skyline selections - five each on the offense and defense. To top it off, John George is coach of the year following a successful fourth season with the Knights. North Valley senior Colin Beard is one of only two players to earn first-team recognition both ways. Mazama junior Eric Brosterhaus is the other. Beard, a running back/defensive back, is joined by teammates Jonah Boersma (junior tackle), Brenden McLean (senior center), Travis Wheeler (senior guard) and Cole Parmelee (senior wide receiver) on the offense. Defensively, Ken Hiler (senior defensive back), Brian Neumann (senior defensive lineman), Ross Kudlac (senior linebacker) and Brandon Rankin (junior linebacker) are Beard's fellow Vikings.
