Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Dow late Thursday on charges of being a felon in possession of a weapon, unlawfully carrying a concealed weapon, possessing a prohibited weapon and violating probation conditions on a conviction of assaulting a police officer. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail. Rape — Christopher Michael Milhoan, 30, of the 100 block of Locke Lane, Phoenix. Ashland police arrested Milhoan Friday on charges of first-degree rape and violating probation conditions of a harassment conviction. He was lodged in jail without bail. Theft — David Lee Blunkall, 20, of the 900 block of Royal Court, Medford. Medford police arrested Blunkall Friday on a charge of first-degree theft, four counts of negotiating a bad check and three counts of false swearing. He was lodged in jail in lieu of $85,000 bail. Injury hit and run — Jorge Mendez Villa, 18, of the 1500 block of Saratoga Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Villa Friday on a charge of injury hit and run. He was lodged in jail but released on bail. Drugs — Daniel Albert Nicora, 34, of the 2200 block of Highway 99, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Nicora Friday on charges of possession of amphetamine and violating probation conditions of a drug conviction. He was jailed without bail. Drugs — Joshua Seth Jewett Long, 24, no address listed. Medford police arrested Long Friday on charges of possession and delivery of amphetamine, being a felon in possession of a weapon and unlawfully carrying a concealed weapon. He was lodged in jail in lieu of $40,000 bail. Advertisement Criminal mischief — Christina Noel Donahue, 22, of the 700 block of Towne Street, Grants Pass. Donahue appeared in Jackson County Circuit Court Friday on an indictment charging her with two counts of first-degree criminal mischief and felony driving under the influence of intoxicants. She was booked in jail and released. Drugs — Victoria Jeanette Sumner, 29, of Kerby. Sumner appeared in Circuit Court Friday on an indictment charging her with possession of a synthetic drug. She was booked in jail and released. Fire call Industrial fire — Wood chips that overheated near machinery ignited a fire in a chip silo Friday at Panel Products on Agate Road in White City. Nine firefighters in two engines and a ladder truck responded to the 8 a.m. blaze, said Capt. Rich Torres of Jackson County Fire District No. 3. Crews returned to extinguish smoldering spots several hours later, Torres said.
