Central Point police arrested Hiebert late Saturday on charges of possession of amphetamine and synthetic drugs, violating probation conditions of a conviction for driving under the influence of intoxicants and failure to appear in court on a charge of carrying a concealed weapon. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained Sunday in lieu of $16,000 bail. Drugs — Jessica Danielle Hill, 21, of the 11000 block of Perry Road, Central Point. Medford police arrested Hill late Saturday on charges of possession and delivery of marijuana, and two counts each of first-degree child neglect, reckless endangering and endangering the welfare of a minor. She remained in jail late Sunday on $66,000 bail. Drugs —James Jerome Hill, 37, of the 1100 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Hill late Saturday on charges of possession and delivery of marijuana, third-degree assault, resisting arrest and two counts each of first-degree child neglect, reckless endangering and endangering the welfare of a minor. There also was a warrant charging him with driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was lodged in jail, and remained there Sunday in lieu of $105,000 bail. Burglary — Andrew C. Neuenschwander, 21, of the 1200 block of West Main Street, Medford. Central Point police arrested Neuenschwander early Sunday on charges of second-degree burglary and criminal trespass, third-degree theft and criminal mischief and possession of burglar’s tools. He was lodged in jail but released nine hours later on his own recognizance. Burglary — Lance Corey Smith, 18, of the 1200 block of West Main Street, Medford. Central Point police arrested Smith early Sunday on charges of second-degree burglary and criminal trespass, third-degree theft and criminal mischief and possession of burglar’s tools. He was lodged in jail but released nine hours later on his own recognizance. Burglary — Christopher B. Nelson, 19, of the 100 block of Alida Street, Ashland. Central Point police arrested Nelson early Sunday on charges of second-degree burglary and criminal trespass, third-degree theft and criminal mischief and possession of burglar’s tools. He was lodged in jail but released nine hours later on his own recognizance. Advertisement Drugs — Marvin John Krause, 51, no permanent address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Krause early Sunday on a charge of possession of amphetamine. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Sunday in lieu of $5,000 bail. Forged instrument — Fernando Villalvazo, 33, of Azusa, Calif. Medford police arrested Villalvazo Sunday on three counts of first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and a charge of being in the country illegally. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Sunday on $45,000 bail. Fire call Structure fire — 400 block of Fir Street, Butte Falls. Officials were investigating the cause of a 2 p.m. blaze that caused major damage to a family’s home. Crews with the Butte Falls Fire Department and Jackson County Fire District No 4. responded, controlling the blaze in about 15 minutes, a spokesman said. Much of the fire was confined to the one-story home’s attic, but water damaged the house throughout, a spokesman with Fire District 4 said.
