Jason Robert Meilicke Sunday Oct 9, 2016 at 2:00 AM Jason Meilicke, 38, passed away the afternoon of October 1, 2016 at his home in Central Point, Ore. surrounded by his loving family after battling a chronic illness. He was born June 17, 1978 in Ashland, Ore. the second child and first son of Steven Robert Meilicke and Shari Lynn Meilicke. Jason grew up in Central Point and graduated from Crater High School then Southern Oregon University. He lived and worked in the Rogue Valley his entire life. Jason is survived by his seven-year-old daughter, Amari; his mother, Shari; his sister, Kari; and his brother Derik; as well as a very large and loving extended family. A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. October 15, 2016 at Mountain Church, 1 E. Main Street in downtown Medford. Arrangements are in care of Conger-Morris Central Point Chapel, 541-664-3361. In lieu of flowers, a fund has been established for Jason's daughter Amari. Memorial contributions may be made to this fund by making checks payable to Shari Meilicke, personal representative of Jason's estate.
