Kidnapped boy released in C.P. A 17-year-old boy who told police he was kidnapped from a Kent, Wash., grocery store Monday night was released Tuesday morning at a Central Point gas station. Central Point police went at 8:23 a.m. Tuesday to the BP gas station, 1065 E. Pine St., to a reported kidnapping incident. The boy told police he had been kidnapped at knifepoint by two boys, ages 16 and 17, about 11:30 p.m. Monday at a Safeway store in Kent. The kidnappers finally dropped him off at the BP gas station in Central Point and then headed south on Interstate 5 with a stolen car and the victim's wallet and money, police said. The California Highway Patrol arrested two teenagers about 40 minutes later at the Star Mart in Yreka, Calif. The two were being held in a Siskiyou County juvenile detention facility and will face charges of kidnapping, robbery and car theft. Authorities would not release the boys' names. The victim told police he didn't know his kidnappers but had seen them in the Kent area before. He had a black eye after one of the suspects struck him.
