PREP BOYS BASKETBALL Brilliant foul shooting lifts Ashland to another victory ASHLAND -- With an eye on better free throw shooting, John Skinner introduced a new drill in his practice schedule this season. Skinner's Grizzlies have already shown dramatic results, shooting 88 percent from the charity stripe in three games -- including a perfect 10-for-10 in the fourth quarter Tuesday to lift Ashland over Mazama, 61-52. The Grizzlies (2-1) showed a deft touch beyond the free throw line, knocking down 51 percent of their shots thanks to the team's concentration and patience. "I just give our kids a lot of credit for their patience and discipline," Skinner said. "I think that was the difference in the game. We didn't let things get out of hand." Brett Zundel paced Ashland with a game-high 20 points, including a 6-for-6 outing from the foul line. The 6-foot-5 post also grabbed seven rebounds.
