Emergency services, Nov. 16 Nov 16, 2022 12:00 AM A A Felony arrests Kidnapping — Beau Charles Bates-Lara, 19, of the 8100 block of West Evans Creek Road, Wimer. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Bates-Lara Friday on charges of second-degree kidnapping, coercion and misdemeanor fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Saturday and no longer an inmate as of Tuesday. Vehicle theft — Vionka Marie Castro, 21, of the 400 block of Laurel Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Castro Saturday on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. She was booked in jail and released Saturday on her own recognizance. Burglary — Christopher Allen Roberts, 38, no known address. Ashland police arrested Roberts Saturday on charges of first-degree burglary and second-degree trespassing. He was lodged in jail Saturday and released Tuesday. Weapon use — Gregory Rand Hoglen, 28, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Hoglen Sunday on charges of unlawful use of a weapon, reckless endangering and menacing constituting domestic violence. He was held in jail Tuesday.
