What protections do we have in place against mentally ill, paranoid, media-saturated, thoughtless, spineless, nanny-state, busybody tattle-tales? Next time you drive by and see someone in a bulky vest headed to the high school, roll your window down and engage the person, or at least slow down: Your poor judgment cost the community a lot of time, money and emotional trauma.
