Emergency services, Oct. 9 Sunday Oct 9, 2016 at 12:05 AM Felony arrests Drugs — Christopher Allen Alvarez, 31, of the 700 block of Royal Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Alvarez Friday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, and on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous charge of meth possession. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Friday and released because of overcrowding. Drugs — Tristan Charles Wood, 28, no known address. Medford police arrested Wood on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing methamphetamine and heroin and second-degree trespassing. He was booked in the jail Friday and released because of overcrowding. Drugs — Leslie Lani Pa Jr., 71, of the 2700 block of Falcon Street, White City. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Pa Saturday on a felony charge of heroin possession. She was booked in the jail Saturday and released on her own recognizance. Drugs — Christopher Dagan Hooper, 35, of the 2500 block of Eastside Road, Jacksonville. Medford police arrested Hooper Saturday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of methamphetamine possession and second-degree trespassing. Drugs — Mark Christian Manley, 29, no known address. Medford police arrested Manley Saturday on a felony charge of possessing heroin and for violating his parole on a previous meth possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Saturday without bail. Drugs — Edward Bryant Shelton Jr. 30, no known address. Medford police arrested Shelton Saturday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, a felony warrant charging methamphetamine possession, and a misdemeanor warrant charging second-degree trespassing. He was lodged in jail Saturday on $30,000 bail. Kidnapping — Nicoa Sterling Cline, 25, of the 200 block of Wimer Street, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Cline Saturday on felony charges of second-degree kidnapping and first-degree theft, and on misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest, harassment, fourth-degree assault and second-degree criminal mischief. She was lodged in jail Saturday on $127,500 bail. Drugs — Chad Sterling Nichols, 47, of Baudette, Minnesota. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Nichols Saturday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous second-degree theft charge, and for violating his probation on a previous meth possession conviction. He was booked in the jail Saturday and released because of overcrowding. Drugs — Eric James Blanchard, 30, of the 600 block of North Bartlett Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Blanchard Saturday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, and for violating his parole on a previous meth distribution conviction. He was lodged in jail Saturday without bail. Assault on a Police Officer — Cameron Isiah Brown, 19, of the 100 block of Woodbury Court, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Brown Saturday on a felony charge of assaulting a police officer, and on misdemeanor charges of harassment and fourth-degree assault. He was lodged in jail Saturday on $17,500 bail. Drugs — Amber Lynn Ziegler, 21, of the 500 block of Monroe Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Ziegler Saturday on felony warrants for distributing and possessing methamphetamine and possessing heroin, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of heroin and meth possession, first- and third-degree theft. She was booked in the jail Saturday and released. Driving While Suspended — Preston Vernon Whaley, 25, of the 400 block of Ardmore Avenue, Medford. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Whaley Saturday on a felony charge of driving while suspended. He was lodged in jail Saturday on $10,000 bail. Drugs — Kaidyn John Weigert, 19, no known address. Eagle Point police arrested Weigert Saturday on a felony charge of heroin possession, and on a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft. He was lodged in the jail Saturday on $12,500 bail.   Crime reports Burglary — 900 block of Beeman Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 1:51 p.m. Friday. Items reported stolen included a bicycle, wallet, credit card and driver's license. The loss was valued at $1,075. Theft — 1000 block of Court Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 8:37 p.m. Friday. Items reported stolen included cash amounting to $600, a check valued at $600, a Michael Kors purse, checkbook and identification cards. The loss was valued at $1,570.
